2. Scope and Applicability

This Policy applies to Customers, Users, and Individuals whose data is collected or processed by Buson Digital Services India Pvt. Ltd. (“Buson”) in relation to Sellerkit.

3. Information We Collect

A. Customer Information

Customers may upload or store Customer Data within the Service. Buson acts as a data processor for such information and processes it solely under the Customer’s instructions.

B. User-Provided Information

When you use the Service, you may provide us with Personal Data such as your name, contact information, email, phone number, and billing details. Optional features like SMS, Call Log, or Email Sync collect only data related to business leads, contacts, or deals.

C. Call Log, Caller ID, and Location Information

To support enterprise communication analysis and visit-tracking features, our mobile application may request the following permissions:

• Call Log and Caller ID: We access limited call details (phone number, call type, duration, timestamp) solely to measure call activity and user responsiveness. Numbers are matched only against existing customer records. Any number not found in the customer database is discarded and never stored. We do not record call audio or access message content.
• Location Information: We access device location to help users navigate to customer addresses, calculate travel distance, and validate customer visits. Location tracking occurs only during active business visits and stops automatically once the visit is completed. Background access, if enabled, is restricted to these active sessions only.

All call and location data are processed securely within the enterprise environment, retained only as necessary for productivity analytics, and deleted once their purpose is fulfilled.

D. Automatically Collected Information

We may collect device information such as IP address, browser type, and device identifiers to maintain system security and improve user experience.

E. Integrated Services

Users may link third-party accounts (e.g., Google Workspace) for authentication. By authorizing such integration, you allow access to limited profile details. You can revoke this access at any time.

F. Information from Other Sources

We may receive information from verified partners or analytics providers to ensure compliance and service integrity. Combined data is treated as Personal Data per this Policy.

4. How We Use the Information

• Service Operations: To provide and maintain all Service features, including CRM management, lead tracking, communication analytics, and productivity reports. This includes processing limited call and location data (if enabled) to assist in navigation and performance reporting.
• Improvements: To understand usage patterns and improve functionality.
• Analytics: To generate aggregated, anonymized reports without identifying individuals.
• Communications: To respond to inquiries, support requests, billing, or legal issues.
• Compliance: To comply with applicable laws and enforce agreements.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and web beacons to analyze behavior and optimize performance. You may disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not function properly.

6. Data Security

We employ industry-standard safeguards such as SSL encryption, firewalls, and access controls to protect data from unauthorized access or loss. While no system is completely secure, we continually enhance our measures to ensure data confidentiality and integrity.

7. Data Retention

• Closed accounts: deleted within 3 months
• Backups: retained for 3 months
• Billing information: retained for 3 years
• Call and location data: retained up to 90 days, only for enterprise productivity analysis

8. Disclosure of Data

We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or to trusted service providers operating under strict data-processing agreements.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If such data is identified, it will be deleted immediately.

10. Your Rights and Choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time. You can disable optional features such as Call Log or Location tracking in your device settings or by emailing privacy@sellerkit.in.

11. International Data Transfers

Data may be transferred to and processed in other jurisdictions where Buson or its partners operate, subject to equivalent data protection standards.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy periodically. Any significant changes will be communicated through the app or email. Continued use of the Service indicates acceptance of the updated Policy.
